How quickly can Beach Front Source deliver on most of its beach furniture?

Orders placed September-March will typically ship within one (1) week, while orders placed April-August may take up to 2-3 weeks. Large quantity beach furniture orders are expedited through production to ensure quick delivery in most cases.

Rush delivery is available upon request for an additional fee.

Most of our beach umbrellas ship via FedEx Ground. Express Service is also available. We deliver to Hawaii, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Does your teak beach furniture require assembly?

Most pieces of teak furniture are supplied either fully assembled or flat-packed in sub-assemblies to minimize the amount of final assembly required. All flat-packed items come complete with a pack of fittings and detailed instructions. Due to design and the accuracy of the construction of our teak, no glue is required when assembling the products, only the dowels and/or bolts supplied in the fittings pack. In most cases, your beach furniture can be assembled within a few minutes by a single person with minimal tools.

What do I need to know about selecting teak for my beach home?

Only select premium "A" grade, mature teak of consistent quality, which includes a straight grain structure, the absence of knots, splits or cracks, and an even overall color. Our beach teak furniture comes from sustainable plantations in Indonesia. Darker teak wood is of a lower grade and varies widely in color and consistency.

How do you estimate your final price on your custom beach umbrellas?

Generally speaking, prices for our beach umbrellas range from the low $100s to as high as $1,000 for much larger beach umbrellas. Because Life Guard Umbrellas specializes in build to order, there are hundreds of different variations to choose from that can affect pricing. For example, if you want a logo on your umbrella or a different choice in fabric, the price will vary. You will receive an automated quote online, as well as an email quote confirmation number for future reference.

How can I order samples of Sunbrella fabrics?

You can order samples of our fabric by viewing the Fabric Details while in the Fabric Selection Tool. From there you can add swatches to your cart as you view each fabric individually. Your samples will ship within two (2) business days via USPS First Class Mail. While we try to stock all samples, we cannot guarantee that all fabrics will have samples available. We will notify you if there are any delays in your sample order.

Why acrylic fabric?

Beach Umbrellas primarily uses Sunbrella solution-dyed acrylic fabrics because they are designed for easy maintenance and many years of use. Solution-dying is the process of adding color to acrylic fibers during manufacturing while they are in a liquid state. This characteristic of acrylic fabrics is the key to locking in color, easy cleaning and long life. For this reason, acrylic fabric offers incredible resistance to stains, weather and wear in any application. Awning grade acrylic fabric carries a 5-year warranty against loss of color and strength. Furniture grade acrylic fabric carries a 3-year warranty against loss of color and strength.

We suggest that after Sunbrella fabrics are cleaned, and if they remain exposed to the elements constantly, that you re-treat your Sunbrella fabrics with a water-repellent treatment such as 303 High Tech Fabric Guard which can be purchased online or at local awning and marine shops.

Can I hose down my beach umbrella that is made with Sunbrella fabric?

One of the best ways to keep Sunbrella fabrics looking good and delay the need for deep or vigorous cleaning is to hose fabrics off on a monthly basis with clear tap water. This practice will help prevent dirt from becoming deeply embedded in the fabrics and eliminate the need for more frequent vigorous cleanings. In most environments, a thorough cleaning will be needed every two to three years. Always remember to allow the fabrics to air dry after hosing it down.
